you could put velco on the botton so that it will stay in one place. when i wake up in the morning i never know where it will be because sam ottis plays with it all the time since i bought it and believe me it has really saved my carpet. Thank You
My cat, Mr. Sox, loves his Turbo Scratcher, but the only time he plays with the ball is when I play with him. If, some way,the ball or toy could be a wind up or maybe battery operated that would make it more fun for him. He has used it so much that I replaced the scratcher yesterday. When I replaced it I was looking on the package material to see where it was made because I expected to see China. Well much to my surprise it is made in Miami, Ok. and we live near by. Thanks !! Also I wanted to ask if the scratcher could be turned over and the other side used? Lynn Cleveland
Firecracker is so fun to watch. She will gather her jingle ball toys and place them in the scratcher along with the other ball. I love the idea of the 'star' scratcher. Would buy one of those balls if it fits in the turbo scratcher.
I'll have to ask Kroger and Walmart why they once carried extra scratch pads and no longer have them.
I actually have two Turbo Scratcher. One has a few holes in the bottom so the cat nip gets all over the carpet. I don't know if you all have already done away with the holley model. Would be great if the base did not crack or break. Sometime it gets stepped on or hit with the vacuum. Thanks very much.
A larger size would be nice. Socks slept on it as a kitten and still sleeps on it, but she's getting too big for it to be comfortable. This is a great product and Made In USA!
My cats love the self interaction with it. I finally found a toy that Miss Prissy, which is hard to please, will play with. When she wakes up at odd hours or her boyfriend is already outside. She'll go and play with the Star Chaser. We all three thank you!
for those of you who can't find replacement pads at Walmart, PetsMart carries them, if you have a store in your area (or get them online from the purveyors noted on this website.
I have six cats all of them came to see the new toy. They each played and had a great time. I only wished that there was an extra ball that came with it. Some one asked about the middle section I just flip it over for my cats. I sprinkle catnip over the top and they are good to go at it. I buy the center replacements at walmart. Glad to see its made in the USA.
I just bought a replacement star chaser ball with the light and it died right away. I do not want to buy a new one and was hoping I could replace the battery, but it doesn't seem to open.
My sister gave me you Turbo Scratcher for my two cats because her cat loved it. Mine do also. Can you make your products from recycled materials? If you did I would surely offer them in my store in Seattle, Goods for the Planet
Our cats love it. Only problem is the ball no longer flashes when played with. We were unable to find a replacement ball, so be bought another unit; however, the ball for it flashes constantly, even when motionless. (????). if there are replacement balls available, please let us know sowe can purchase them. Thank you.
My cats love the Star Chaser. The only problem, I can't find replacement light balls any where. If they were available on line or in stores that would be great. They like it better when the ball lights up and this one is nearly gone.
I just purchased the Turbo Scratcher and noticed that there are two batteries in the glow balls that could be replaced and less cost effective to us as consumers, instead of throwing away and purchasing replacement balls for $5.00. The Laser beam allos consumers to replace the batteries. Just think it is a waste that this could be prevented if allowed to be able to replace the batteres.
I purchased the Turbo Scratcher four years ago when my two cats were small kittens. They loved this toy! Eventually, we lost the ball and I began looking for a replacement, even willing to replace the whole thing. I was surprised to find the Turbo Scratcher is no longer the quality product it was four years ago. Made from a much lighter weight plastic, including the ball, I can understand why some are suggesting adding Velcro to hold it in place. So disappointed.
It is the best time to make some plans for the future and it's time to be happy. I have read this post and if I could I desire to suggest you few interesting things or tips. Perhaps you could write next articles referring to this article. I desire to read more things about it!

A broader selection of colors is always nice. I have 1 green and 1 blue one but a red or black Turbo Scratcher would be great.

Having a hard time finmding the replacement pads. Walmart does not carry them anymore
the scratcher needs to be constructed better. I have to put a spoke pattern of glue on the back of it so it doesn't come apart much too soon!

How do you change the scratch pad? There are no instructions included.
