Turbo Scratcher=Playstation?

The comments from the last post say that the Turbo Scratcher has become a kind of "home" for the cats' toy...the hub of their play area.
Does anyone else see it that way?
What does the Turbo Scratcher need in order to become the true "hub" of the cats' play area?
